Frequently Asked Questions
How long will my cabinets take?
Delivery times will vary depending upon
our workload. Our typical delivery time frame, from the
time we receive your deposit, is four to eight weeks. Please note
that building a quality cabinet takes time and is a
process that should not be rushed. We want to build your
cabinets so that we receive referrals instead of
complaints.
How do your prices
compare to other companies?
If you are comparing our products to
other high quality custom built cabinets, our prices
will be extremely competitive. We don't sell economy
brands and other lesser quality cabinets found in some
of the large retail chains. Such cabinets just don't
last and we truly believe that your kitchen should be a
one time investment.
How
do I care for my cabinets?
After installation you should clean your cabinets with a
non-abrasive (mild) soap and water applied with a soft
lint free cloth. Dry immediately with a soft cloth.
Repeat this two to three times yearly. Even though your
cabinets have one of the most durable finishes available
they will not withstand repeated exposure to soap and
water so please try to limit this. Also make sure to
wipe off any spills immediately. Never use any cleaners
with ammonia, chlorine or abrasives. Please polish your
cabinets sparingly because polish builds up over time
and will affect the natural beauty of your cabinetry.
Always use a good quality polish without wax or
silicone. In areas where grease build up is a problem
use a water and vinegar solution. This will remove the
grease without leaving a residue behind.
Can I see some customer referrals?
We have a lot of quotes from customers on our web page
and we can put you in contact with past customers. We do
not wish to burden our past customers by flooding them
with emails or phone calls, or compromise their privacy.
You can be assured that we value our customers and
respect their personal information.
Do you install or do I need
to hire someone and what is the "typical rate"?
We do install our cabinets and we also will work with
your contractor to ensure that they are comfortable
installing our cabinets and answer any questions they
may have. The installation fee depends on the size of
the job and varies from customer to customer and
contractor to contractor.
What happens if I receive
damaged cabinets?
With our own experienced drivers, damage is extremely
rare. We keep your cabinets in our factory and they are
delivered directly to your location (less handling is
best). If we unload a damaged cabinet from our delivery
truck, we will make note of the damage on the invoice
and we will see to it that any problems are corrected
immediately. It is the customer's responsibility to
inspect all items for signs of damage. Any damaged or
missing piece must be noted on our driver’s packing list
before you sign for delivery.
We suggest that you allow us the opportunity to keep
your cabinets until they are ready for installation. If
you choose to receive your cabinets before the job is
ready for installation, please know that cabinets should
be stored in a controlled atmosphere. Do not store
cabinets in an area with extreme changes in temperature
or humidity. The cabinets should not be anywhere near
the construction site.
What is your payment policy
and form of payment?
We require 50% down upon contract signing and if we are
installing, the final 50% will be paid after
installation is complete. If your contractor is
installing, the final 50% will be required upon delivery
of the cabinets. We accept Master Card, Visa, American
Express and certified checks.
What happens if I don't
receive an item that I wanted?
During the kitchen planning process, a customer may
request multiple revisions. Some clients might spend
days, weeks, or even months considering multiple options
before they arrive at a final plan. We try to include
every important detail, but it can be difficult after
many revisions to spot something mentioned earlier in
the process that may have been omitted from the final
plan. We want your order to be complete and strive to
avoid this problem, however, we do rely on your approval
of the final sales package. If you have made a specific
request, please verify that what you requested is shown
on the floor plan or listed in the material list
included in your sales package before you order your
cabinets. This final sales package is our way of making
sure you receive all the items you requested. We ask
that you review this sales package carefully before you
order. If an item is not listed, we expect you to let us
know. The price you are quoted on your sales agreement
includes only those items shown on the plan and material
list. If an item is shown in your sales package and you
do not receive it upon delivery, please call us so that
we can expedite delivery of that item. Since we check
the final plan many times during the order process,
items are rarely missed. If you have forgotten something
and you need additional items, please let us know.
What if I don't see the
stain, wood species or door front that I want?
It's our mission to deliver our customer exactly what
they desire and we will work with you to meet your
selection needs.
